Payment Methods

28 Degrees South Woodcraft accepts payment by Direct Deposit, Paypal, Visa and MasterCard. All credit card orders are subject to verification and approval.

 

Pricing policy

Prices are set at the time of purchase and are subject to change without any notice. We reserve the right to not honour typographical errors on prices.

 

Acceptance of orders

28 degrees South Woodcraft reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order at any time, for any reason. In addition, an automated electronic order confirmation does not indicate acceptance of an order. By placing an order, the customer agrees that the sale is made in New South Wales, Australia.

Limitation of Liability

All products sold on this website are to be used at your own risk. Under no circumstances is 28 degrees South Woodcraft liable for the following:

  • third party claims against you for damages.

  • loss of, or damage to any type of hardware or equipment.

  • any consequential damages. Consequential damages are defined as any damage which is a consequence of using this product or our website (data loss; hardware loss; or economic losses like profit loss, customer loss, or time loss).

  • economic consequential damages or incidental damages.

The 28 degrees South Woodcraft liability is limited to the cost of the product purchased from us. All products that we sell are to be used at your own risk and we are in no way liable for any loss, damage or injuries suffered from use in any way.

Once shipped, goods become the responsibility of the customer which then has consumer rights to the goods being delivered by the carrier. All images displayed are for illustrative purposes only, and all specifications shown are true and accurate to the best of our knowledge.

Postage and handling

We will always strive to get you the best price of postage wherever you are in the world. Within Australia we use Australia post or other reputable couriers. Prices will vary depending on weight and size and we will ensure that your item is packed as safely and securely as possible. See the attached link to Australia post for a guide.

Loss or Damage in Transit

Replacement of damaged items or lost deliveries can only be offered to customers who have selected the Freight Insurance option when placing their order. Please inspect the contents of your shipment carefully upon your receipt of it. You have three (3) days to report any items that are missing or have arrived damaged or broken in transit. We will not accept any responsibility or offer any options after those three days have passed.

 

Delays in Transit

Standard Shipping averages 5-7 days for delivery to most areas in Australia, while Express Shipping averages 1-3 days. Shipping to regional areas (e.g. regional WA/NT) will take longer. Shipping times overseas may vary. It is important to remember that delivery times are estimates and can be affected by weather conditions or other unforeseeable events that are outside the control of the shipping company. Once an order has been dispatched, shipping costs are non-refundable.

 

Returns Policy

If you are not happy with your purchase and would like to return it please contact us to discuss what we can do for you. We offer a 7-day return policy for a product in its original undamaged packaging. Restocking fees may apply, and credit value is based on current market prices. You must contact us within 7 days of shipping of the product to return a product in this way.

 

Warranty

If you have any difficulties with a product purchased, please contact us. All warranty is strictly return-to-base unless advised otherwise. Any physical damage to a product voids the makers warranty. The customer has to return the item to us at their cost and we will return the item back to them at our cost if to be found faulty. Return postage will be payable for all goods not found faulty. Please follow the makers care sheet when using your item.
